Acrylic resin is a resin made from a single copolymer of acrylates, polymethacrylic acid and other alkenes. According to the selection of different resin structures, different secret recipes, production processes and solvent composition, acrylic resins of different types, different properties and different places of use can be generated.Acrylic resin can be divided into thermosetting plastic acrylic resin and thermosetting acrylic resin according to the difference in structure and collagen-forming principle.Acrylic resin has good light resistance and outdoor aging properties.

1. Thermosetting plastic acrylic resin

No further crosslinking occurs in the case of coating film, so it has a relatively large molecular weight, excellent light-retaining and color-fixing properties, moisture and chemical resistance, fast dryness, convenient engineering construction, easy to hand-apply and rework engineering construction, and the fineness and precision positioning of alumina powder when preparing aluminum powder paint are strong.Thermosetting plastic acrylic resin is widely used in vehicles, household appliances, machinery and equipment, housing construction and other industries.

2. Thermosetting acrylic resin

Refers to the presence of certain functional groups in the structure. During the reaction, hydroxyl resin, epoxy resin, polyurethane material, etc. are added to reflect with the functional groups to produce a mesh structure. Thermosetting resins generally have a relatively low molecular weight.Thermosetting acrylic coatings have excellent adhesion, gloss, strength, solvent resistance, weather resistance, no discoloration and no yellowing when baked at high heat. The main use of zui is to cooperate with hydroxyl resin to make hydroxyl-acrylic spray paint. At this stage, it is widely used in vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, coil steel and other commodities.

3. Classification according to the manufacturing method can be divided into:

1. The polymerization of moisturizing emulsion is made of a single, initiator, and reaction solvent. It is generally made into a resin with a solid content of 50% and a solvent content of 50%.It reflects that solvents are more common in benzene (xylene or xylene) and lipids (butyl acetate, methyl tert-butyl ether), and can be used in a single application or in a mixed application.

The solvent is different, the performance of general commodities is different, the number and color are different, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is low.Generally, acrylic resins without hydroxyl groups are used to reflect that they will achieve a high solid content of 80%.It can be used as high-solid architectural coatings, and the production and manufacturing are simple.Because solvents are more common in dangerous goods, it is inconvenient to transport!

2. Floating polymerization is a relatively complicated production process, which is mostly suitable for the production and manufacture of solid resins. For solid acrylic resins, acrylic resins with hydroxyl groups are generally used. The general reaction step is to put the catalyst, initiator, and modifier into the reaction water and then put it in the steaming water to reflect, and then clean, dry, and consider after a certain period of time and ambient temperature.

3. Polymerization by itself is a kind of high-efficiency production process.Generally, raw materials are put into a unique plastic film.Reflect it into small pieces, take it out and break it, and then think about it.The purity of the solid acrylic resin manufactured in this way is relatively high. The quality and reliability are good.

4. Other solvents are polymerized and reflected. During the reaction, the solvent is used as the chemical substance of the intermediary company, and then the desolvant is removed after the reaction.

With acrylic monomers (methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, n-butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, etc.) as the basic characteristics, it is crosslinked into an insoluble acrylic polymer with a network architecture.

4, the crosslinking method can be divided into two categories:

1. Reflect the crosslinking type. The functional groups in the polymer do not have the ability to cross-link. Be sure to add the crosslinking components of the two functional groups of zui (such as melamine resin, epoxy resin, urea resin and oxide, etc.) after reflection, the cross-linking is dry and solid. The cross-linking components cannot be stored for a long time after they are added, and should be applied as soon as possible.

2. Self-crosslinked type, the polymer chain itself has more than two reactive functional groups (methyl, hydroxyl, amide, hydroxymethyl, etc.), heated to a certain ambient temperature (or at the same time with a metal catalyst), the functional groups reflect each other and cross-link.This thermosetting acrylic resin can be used as a modifier for textiles, leather products, printing paper, industrial-grade paints and industrial coatings. What are the categories?
